The Huayu 12V 200Ah AGM Battery is a AGM chemistry based solution used for energy storage, backup power, and other similar systems with daily cycling. The battery is featured with leak-proof, maintenance-free design, no toxic gas generation, vibration resistant, and provides outstanding performance at -20°C~60°C temperature and longer storage time used in virtually any position like marine, RV, van, home backup power, etc.

Q: If this AGM battery can be used in a living/working area?
A: This AGM battery is suitable for on-grid and off-grid applications and does not generate any toxic hydrogen gas during working, so it's a safe and clean battery. You can use it in your living/working area for on-grid and off-grid applications like marine, RV/Van, home backup power supplies, emergency power systems, medical devices, etc.

Q: Can I discharge the battery to 0% and then recharge it again?
A: To avoid cycle life shortening, it is recommended not to discharge the battery below 50%. And when not in use, we recommend charging it 100% before storing it and recharging it after three months.

Q: Can I connect the AGM batteries in series and in parallel?
A: Yes, you can. The maximum number that can be connected in parallel is 4. As for in series, there is no limitations. We recommend connecting the batteries with the same voltage and capacity from the same brand. And we also recommend using a battery balancer to extend the battery service life when multiple batteries are connected in series and/or in parallel.

Q: How to maintain the battery?
A: The battery should be stored in clean, ventilated, dry and cool ( -20℃~60℃ ) place when not using, keep it after full charge, recharge it every 3 months or 6 months.

Q: How can you tell if a battery is good or bad?
A: You should first check the battery for defects such as a broken circuit, a short, or a broken container. If an outward problem is not apparent, then you will have to check the battery's capacity using known measuring techniques to ascertain the problem.

Q: How can I fix this AGM battery if I over discharged it?
A: It can be restored to normal voltage and continues to operate normally through low-current charging. Please note that frequent over-discharge may cause irreversible damage to the battery's life. To avoid cycle-life shortening, we recommend not discharging the battery below 50%.
