Huayu's new affordable hybrid inverter HYH-3K-NA, continuous output power 3kW, surge power 6kW, is an Solar Inverter Charger that supports diversified energy management modes on solar/utility/generator charging, and utility/inverter power supply to the AC loads. Compatible with 48V battery banks, this solar inverter charger has the ultimate control with Three charging modes: Solar only, Solar priority, Utility & Solar, and two AC output modes: Utility priority and Inverter priority maximize energy utilization that make your system into an uninterruptible power supply (UPS), automatically switching to Off-Grid Mode in not more than 10 milliseconds to keep loads securely powered.

Q: Can the inverter work with lithium battery without communicating with BMS?A: Yes. The inverter can work with a lithium battery without communicating with BMS. However, the real-time monitoring data and protection point will be the sampling data from the inverter. But the user has to set the voltage set points of the inverter according to the data of the BMS, or it will cause the charging abnormal.
Q: Can the inverter operate with PV or Utility only, but without battery?
A: Yes, it has no No-Battery mode. The parameters can be set without a battery connection.
Q: Can I use this inverter to charge my batteries?
A: Yes. Compatible with 48V battery banks, this solar inverter charger keeps your battery charged with solar panels and AC/generator.
Q: Is the Max. charge or discharge current settable?
A: Yes. This series can not only set the total charging and discharging limiting current of the battery but also set the charging current of the utility. Users can flexibly configure the utility according to the demand.
Q: What size inverter should I buy?
A: Sizing the right power output.
Make sure your inverter charger can handle at least 1½ times the load of continuous demand you expect to have regularly. To figure this out, simply add up the wattage of each device you plan on running simultaneously. Be sure the inverters you’re considering will be able to supply enough AC power.
B: Check your battery voltage.
The DC voltage rating on the inverter will tell you what battery bank it is compatible with. For example, a 48V battery bank will require an inverter that is compatible with 48V DC input.
C: Size your installation spaces.
Make sure the inverter will fit in the space you have in mind with enough room around it for proper ventilation and no fire hazards.
D: Remote operation is important.
