Overview
Huayu's HYC series of PWM Charge Controller is equipped with two USB ports and LCD display that adopts the most advanced digital technique. The multiple load control modes enable it can be widely used on solar home system, traffic signal, solar street light, solar garden lamp, etc.
Product Highlights
- 12V/24V System Voltage Automatically Detect
The controller support both 12V and 24V systems and detect 12V or 24V DC system voltages once connected to a Lead-acid (Sealed/Gel/Flooded) battery.
- 4-Stage Intelligent PWM Charging
The controller owns a 4-Stage Intelligent PWM Charging - Bulk, Boost, Float and Equalization, and temperature compensation can effectively prolong the battery lifespan and significantly improve the system's performance.
- LCD Display Design
The controller is equipped with built in LCD display that adopts the most advanced digital technique, dynamically displaying device’s operating data and working condition
- Double USB Design
The controller has two USB port, easily supply charge for electronic equipment.
- Multiple Load ControlModes
The multiple load control modes enable it can be widely used on solar home system, traffic signal, solar street light, solar garden lamp, etc.
Application Scenario

Q: Can I connect two charge controllers in parallel to one battery bank?
A: No, PWM charge controllers are not designed to communicate with each other.
Q: Can I change/adjust the charging parameters on PWM charge controllers?
A: Unfortunately, PWM charge controllers do not have a user-programmable setting.
Q: Can I use this controller with a DC alternator or a wind turbine?
A: No. The charge controller is only capable of accepting input from solar panels.
Q: What is the rated current of the USB output? Would it be damaged if overloaded?
A: The two USB ports are paralleled, the total power is 2.4A/5V, so it is 2.4A/5V too if the only USB port is used. If overloaded, there will be over current protection or even damage to the controller.
Q: Is the USB output controlled by the load mode?
A: Yes, the USB output is the same as load output which is controlled by load mode(Manual, Light ON/OFF, Light ON/OFF+Timer, Time ). If the load is turned off due to trigger the protection, the USB output will be turned off also.
